SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH (GOOD THINGS UTAH)- Making pure maple syrup is not only delicious but fun. Today in the studio we have, Bigtooth Maple Project Festival Chair, Amanda Thorn; discussing the insight into how their maple syrup is made, and the events coming up. When making maple syrup you need 50 gallons of sap to produce one gallon of syrup. Nothing is added to this mixture they simply just take out the water, filter it, and then bottle it. This season being better than last you will not want to miss their upcoming event. This Saturday, April 20, 10-3 pm at Lauritzen Field, Woodland Hills.
