Corvette drivers embark on 450 mile trip for St. Jude
PEORIA (25News Now) - Area Corvette owners set out to put some road behind them with the goal of helping the children of St Jude. This marks the 13th year the sports car owners have made the two-day trek to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis. Drivers departed from Uftring Chevrolet in Washington with the goal of raising $500,000 to help the hospital in their mission of providing care for no cost to families.
Regency Plaza up for auction
PEORIA, Ill. (WMBD) — A downtown Peoria office building boasting sweeping river views is going up for auction in June. The 270,000-square-foot Regency Plaza, located at 222 Northeast Monroe, has 60,000 square feet of office space on top of a 550-car parking lot. Peoria woman pleads guilty to reduced murder charge for killing boyfriend
PEORIA (25News Now) - A Peoria woman has pleaded guilty to second-degree murder for the stabbing death of her boyfriend last year. Heaven Kruzan, 23, faces a minimum of four years in prison up to a maximum of 20 years behind bars for killing Lamario Billups, 34, who was found with a stab wound to the chest at a home on South Stanley Street on March 8, 2023.
