Two schools top the last rankings of the 2024 season entering the state tournament. Cody leads the final WyoPreps Coaches and Media Soccer Polls in Class 3A and Jackson in Class 4A. 2024 Mustang Days rodeo queen and princess crowned
The Lovell Rodeo Club held their annual Mustang Days royalty contest at the Lovell rodeo grounds on Saturday, April 27. There was a good turnout and great attitudes present, according to organizers. The contest consisted of horsemanship patterns and a question-and-answer session in front of a panel of four judges.
Rocky eighth-grade boys capture conference meet
The Rocky Mountain Middle School track and field program completed a successful 2024 season last week by hosting the Big Horn Conference meet in Cowley. Newton set to retire after years of inspiring artists
Berta Newton knew she was meant to be an artist at age 2, and she had a lot of inspiration. She was born to parents who made their artistic gifts into lifelong careers. Newton’s father had a degree from the prestigious Parsons School of Design in New York City and was an accomplished painter. Her mother a musician with a keen interest in singing opera. She also taught public speaking and interpersonal communications at Northwest College.
