May 3 brought the return of Jackson’s First Friday event, organized by Jackson’s Downtown Development Authority. Held on the Jackson town square from 6:30 to 9 p.m., the event featured food from food trucks and Jackson restaurants and participants gathered around the square, in the new Browns Park and on the lawn of the Butts County Historic Courthouse to enjoy the evening.
