Valders man who died in crash with semitruck identified by Manitowoc County Coroner's Office

MANITOWOC — The 81-year-old Valders man who died Tuesday in a car crash has been identified as Glenroy Perronne by the Manitowoc County Coroner's Office.

Perronne died after his pickup truck collided with a semitruck in the intersection of State 42 and U.S. 151 in Manitowoc, according to the Manitowoc Police Department.

He was driving westbound on U.S. 151 just after 1 p.m. Tuesday. He turned in front of an eastbound semi while attempting to head south on State 42.

Perronne died at the scene of the crash despite life-saving efforts by witnesses and emergency medical service personnel.

The driver of the semi, a 24-year-old Manitowoc man, was not injured.
