Harlem man sentenced to 25 years to life in prison for role in fatal Patchogue home invasion
A Harlem man was sentenced to 25 years to life in prison Monday for a 2018 fatal Patchogue home invasion.
Ade N'Gaii was found guilty in February. Prosecutors had said he drove to Kristopher Appel's house with three other men dressed as construction workers. N'Gaii and the other suspects then broke in and beat and stabbed the victim to death.
Prosecutors say it was an attempt to steal money and drugs.
N'Gaii was arrested nearly three years after the murder.
