Manhattan bank competition has a $5,000 grand prize

MANHATTAN ( KSNT ) – A Manhattan bank has announced a contest with a grand prize in the thousands of dollars.

Outdoor Bank announced it is entering the last phase of the “What’s Your Outdoors?” photo contest and is inviting outdoor enthusiasts to enter for a chance to win $5,000. The bank said since the start of the contest it has received thousands of photos showcasing Kansas’ great outdoors.

“From breathtaking landscapes to exhilarating adventures, participants have shared their unique perspectives and experiences, celebrating the natural world in all its glory,” Outdoor Bank said in a press statement.

To enter the competition, you must:

• Take a photo that captures an outdoor location or activity.
• Include a 200-character or less caption describing the activity or location and why it’s special to you.
• Post the photo as a comment on any ‘Week 4 post’ on the Outdoor Bank Facebook page with the hashtag MyOutdoors, and tag @OutdoorBank.

Entries must be submitted before Friday, June 14 at 11:59 a.m. with the finalist announced later that day. The grand prize winner will be selected through a voting process. Voting will take place from Saturday, June 15 until Friday, June 21 on the Outdoor Bank social media pages. The grand prize winner will be announced on Monday, June 24.

Last year, Outdoor Bank placed a “ golden ticket ” in the Manhattan area and released clues every week to lead people to its location. Outdoor Bank said the treasure hunt was meant to encourage people to get outside and explore Manhattan.
