The Mandeville Police Department responded to a single-vehicle crash that occurred on the 800 block of Jackson Avenue in the early morning hours of Friday, June 9, 2023. This crash claimed the life of the driver of the vehicle. A second occupant was injured and transported to a local hospital. This crash is still under investigation, however, after preliminary findings, speed is a suspected factor. Routine toxicology samples were obtained and submitted for analysis. More information will be released at a later time following further investigation.
