CBS is preparing for another change to its morning lineup. One of its familiar faces has announced plans to leave, adding another name to a series of recent departures. She has also revealed her final day at the station and offered a small clue about her next destination.

Bryn Caswell reveals when she’s leaving WBNS-10TV

Bryn Caswell announced on social media that Nov. 13 will be her last day at WBNS-10TV. Talking about it, Caswell called it a “full-circle moment,” reflecting on her journey from “growing up watching 10TV” to sitting behind the very anchor desk she “once dreamed of.” She called the moment “pretty special” and looked back on a career that has seen her wear almost every hat at the station.

Caswell has anchored, reported, developed content, produced shows and hosted a daily news program and podcast. The anchor also described sharing stories with the community that raised her as a “privilege.” Still, she believes ambition never stands still. As she put it, “The beautiful thing about dreams” is that “they keep evolving.”

Caswell is now preparing to move to Texas but has not revealed her next employer or position. She ended her announcement with a tease, writing, “More soon! Yeehaw!!” Her exit marks the third major morning-show departure at the Columbus station in less than six months. Meteorologist Meredith Garofalo and anchor Tracy Townsend have also left WBNS during that period.

Caswell’s work went well beyond the anchor desk. She helped bring The Big Picture to life, shaping and producing the hour-long daily show before hosting it. Alongside that project, she covered breaking stories and delivered weekday morning reports.

Caswell built her journalism chops across several markets before making her way back to Columbus. Her résumé includes stints at WKEF in Dayton and WEWS in Cleveland. She also joined the Carnegie-Knight News21 fellowship, where she dug into drinking-water safety issues nationwide. Her award cabinet speaks volumes, too, with multiple Emmys and five Edward R. Murrow Awards.
