Police: $20,000 worth of damage done to Manchester cemetery by vandals

MANCHESTER, N.H. — Authorities are investigating after thousands of dollars worth of damage was done to a city cemetery.

Manchester Police say more than a dozen gravestones were vandalized at the City of Manchester Merrill Cemetery. Some of these headstones were knocked down, broken, or covered in gold paint, according to officials, and damages are estimated to be $20,000.

Anyone with information about the vandalisms is asked to call police.
