“We are very excited for Coach Hall,” Malvern athletic director Dave Tucci said in a statement. “Kayla has been a great asset as a teacher and coach during her time at Malvern. She has been all-in since day one. Outstanding coaches have mentored her. We look forward to supporting her and seeing our volleyball program succeed under her leadership.”

Hall played high school volleyball at Tusky Valley and and helped lead the Trojans to two state tournament appearances, including a runner-up finish in 2016. She played college volleyball and tennis at Muskingum.

“I am very grateful for this opportunity and excited to get to work," Hall said. "I have loved being part of the Malvern family. I cannot wait to start teaching these girls and I feel big things are coming for Malvern volleyball.”

Hall replaces Karli Virtue, who stepped down after 13 seasons as head coach.
