Kelly Springs students get first taste of summer with field day
DOTHAN, Ala. (WTVY) - Students are thrilled as the final weeks of school come around and to reward their hard work, Kelly Springs Elementary School held a field day. “Field Day is the most anticipated event of the entire school year,” said Kelly Springs Principal Monica Montalvo. “They look forward to it from day one.”
Wiregrass storms topple trees in Houston, Henry counties
DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Several trees and power lines fell in eastern Wiregrass after thunderstorms rolled through earlier in the day. Trees and power lines went down along Jordan Avenue in Cowarts. One tree fell in the Granberry Crossroads area in Henry County, blocking a dirt driveway to a home.

Marianna’s Hamilton signs with Coastal Alabama
MARIANNA, Fla. (WMBB) – Marianna High School senior, Sam Hamilton signed with the Coastal Alabama baseball team on Tuesday afternoon. As a senior, Hamilton helped lead the Bulldogs to an 18-8 record while striking out 30 batters in nine appearances on the mound.
