An Ohio woman pleaded guilty this week to leaving a race-based and politically motivated death threat to a Michigan state representative in 2021. On Wednesday, May 15, Sandra Bachman, 61, of Batavia, Ohio, pled guilty in Ingham County to charges after making a death threat to then-Michigan state representative Cynthia Johnson in June 2021. Bachman pleaded guilty under a plea agreement reached with the state.
