WARM SPRINGS, Ore., May 22, 2024) — “Portraits in Red: Missing & Murdered Indigenous People Painting Project” — a national traveling exhibition — will be on view at The Museum at Warm Springs from Wednesday, June 5 through Saturday, September 7, 2024. Magical Madras transformed with Mayfaire
The Madras Mayfaire brought hundreds from across the region to Sahalee Park Sunday, May 19, filling the park with flowers, fairies, and Renaissance magic. The event was well attended throughout the day, with over 250 people in attendance. The fair offered opportunities to complete quests from the king and queen, Mayor Mike Lepin and his wife April, with characters throughout the fair with quests and tasks to complete. Performances from bagpipers, flame dancers and maypole dancers happened throughout the day, along with play jousting in the arena, a performance of ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’ from the South Wasco school’s theatre department.

Construction for new Redmond rec center begins Saturday
Construction for Redmond's new community recreation center begins this weekend. Redmond Area Park and Recreation announced a groundbreaking ceremony Saturday, June 1, at 3:00 p.m. The community is invited to celebrate the occasion.
