After last year’s fiasco that had nothing to do with Madera’s planning, City of Madera 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular chairman Rohi Zacharia said he was assured that this year’s fireworks spectacular will fire off.

“We partnered with the largest fireworks vendor in the nation,” he said. “They took us on after what happened last year. They guaranteed us this will never happen again, which is kind of nice. It put a lot of people at ease. They stepped up to guarantee there will be fireworks going off, no matter what.”

Zacharia hopes the entire community comes out to the Madera District Fairgrounds for the new 4th of July fireworks.
