Hawks earn top seed, Coyotes in Div. 1

The Central Section softball and baseball playoff brackets were released over the weekend and Madera-area teams received beneficial seedings.

Of the seven teams in the baseball and softball playoffs, six received home seedings, including Northwest Sequoia Conference Champions, Liberty baseball, who received the top seed in Div. III.

Softball first round games beain Tuesday for softball and Wednesday for baseball. Quarterfinals are Thursday for softball and Friday for baseball.
