Luzerne County Council will meet tomorrow evening. On the agenda, awarding of the American Rescue Plan Funding grants. The question is whether the applicants will receive the full amount they requested. It's not yet known if council will vote on those grants individually or as a group. Grants that will receive partial funding will be voted on at a future meeting. Also a vote is scheduled to be taken on a $780,000 settlement of a lawsuit involving a woman whose death was ruled a suicide at the Luzerne County Correctional Facility in January of 2018. The meeting will get underway at 6pm at the Luzerne County Courthouse.
