Southeast Texas — Brief thunderstorms Monday night knocked out power to several hundred Southeast Texans.
KFDM Chief Meteorologist Greg Bostwick says about 1-2 inches of rain fell in the Lumberton and Mauriceville areas.
As of about 8 p.m., roughly 215 people were without power in Hardin County, 200 in Jefferson County and 160 in Orange County.
By 10 p.m., roughly 90 were still without power in Orange County, 15 in Hardin County and eight in Jefferson County.
Entergy estimates restoration as late as 11:30 p.m. for some customers.
