(KLTV) - When he was sentenced to prison, he was told by the prosecutor that he had no hope for change, but Dr. Stanley Andrisse has proven otherwise. Andrisse was sentenced to 10 years in prison after being convicted for three felonies, but despite social barriers like poverty and his criminal record, he lived by his father’s words that “it’s never too late to do good” and pursued his dream of being a medical professional. He is now an endocrinologist scientist and faculty member at Howard University College of Medicine.

Lufkin's Hensley throws perfect inning in Oklahoma win
NORMAN, Okla. (KTRE) - Former Lufkin Panther Reid Hensley had two strikeouts in an inning of work as Oklahoma got a 10-0 run-rule win over Oral Roberts. The right-handed junior entered the game in the seventh inning to shut the door on ORU after inheriting two runners. Hensley induced a pop fly to the first hitter and struck out the next two looking to maintain a 6-0 lead for OU. The Sooners scored four in the bottom of the inning to end the game.
