A Steens man is in custody after allegedly offering his customers a little meth with their brisket, according to Sheriff Eddie Hawkins. Columbus city, Lowndes County leaders meet to discuss landscaping deal

At 7:04 PM CDT, Doppler radar identified a strong thunderstorm near Crawford, moving south at 25 mph. The hazard associated with it is wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel-sized hail, with the possibility of minor damage to outdoor objects. The storm is expected to be near Crawford at 7:15 PM CDT and Brooksville and Deerbrook at 7:25 PM CDT. The maximum hail size is 0.88 inches, and the maximum wind gust is 50 mph.
