Massachusetts man plans on letting money work for him after hitting $1 million on scratch ticket
A Massachusetts man plans on making his money work for him after he hit it big on a State Lottery scratch ticket.
According to the Massachusetts State Lottery, Gary Cheney has won the first $1 million prize in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “$10,000,000 Premier Cash” $20 instant ticket game.
Cheney who is from Lowell, opted to receive his prize in the form of a one-time payment of $650,000 (before taxes). He plans to invest his winnings.
His winning ticket was purchased at Mackie’s All in One located at 391 Textile Ave. in Dracut. The store will receive a $10,000 bonus for its sale of this ticket.
