Lynn Family Stadium Bag Policy

Lynn Family Stadium is home to the Louisville City FC USL team and Racing Louisville FC NWSL team at 350 Adams St, Louisville, KY 40206. The bag policy at the soccer stadium allows fans to bring in bags as long as they don’t exceed 14″ x 14″ x 6″. However, traditional backpacks and oversized purses can’t come into the stadium. If possible, fans should try bringing in a clear single-compartment tote bag that does not exceed the size limit to avoid any issues at the gate.

While Lynn Family Stadium does not require a clear bag to come into the stadium, bringing in one helps speed up the review process, which means you get into the stadium faster. Below are the different types of bags fans can bring into the stadium for a game.

• One-gallon clear bag/Ziploc bag/ freezer bag
• ADA-specific bags
• Medical bags/diaper bags. If possible, make sure that these types of bags don’t exceed 14″ x 14″ x 6.”

My Clear Bag Recommendation + Experience

Lynn Family Stadium has the same bag policy as other soccer venues I’ve been to. From my experience, bringing a clear fanny pack that measures 11″ x 6.5″ x 5.9″ in size won’t be a problem. I’ve brought this same bag into numerous venues without any issues since it is clear and small.

How Does the Lynn Family Stadium Security Team Review Bags?

Fans arriving at Lynn Family Stadium for a soccer game will pass through a metal detector screening at the entrance gate before entering the stadium. Fans with a bag will go through a bag inspection at the gate. The bag inspection reviews the size of the bag along with the content inside of it. Assuming there are no issues with your bag, you will get it back to enter the stadium with.

Is There a Bag Check or Locker Storage Area at Lynn Family Stadium?

There is no official bag check or locker storage area at Lynn Family Stadium for fans to use if they can’t bring their bag into the stadium. If your bag can’t come into the soccer stadium with you, plan to leave it in your car. From there, you must get back in line to enter the stadium with your event without the bag.

 

If you don’t have a car to leave your bag in, see if a nearby hotel can watch your stuff. The nearest hotels to the soccer stadium are less than a mile from the stadium in Butchertown. Most hotels charge a small bag-holding fee if they have the space to hold onto extra bags.
