Man dead after being shot, crashing car into pool in Kentucky
Louisville Metro Police Department says a man is dead after a shooting that ended in a crash in south Louisville.
LMPD received calls of a shooting in the 6500 block of Brook Bend Way around 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
Officers found a man who had been shot when they arrived to that location. Police said the man was shot, drove down Cooper Chapel Road and then crashed into a pool at The Crossing at Cooper Chapel.
No people were in or around the pool at the time of the crash, police said.
The man was taken to UofL Hospital in critical condition and was later pronounced dead, police said.

They are still working to determine if the man was shot before or while he was in his car.
LMPD's Homicide Unit is handling the investigation. There are no suspects at this time.
