A man has been arrested in connection with a deadly southwest Louisville shooting.Louisville Metro Police say they arrested 34-year-old Carlos Galeano-Fugueroa and charged him with murder and first-degree robbery. The arrest is in connection with a man who was found dead after being shot multiple times in a rear parking lot. It happened just before midnight on St. Anthony Church Road near Springfield Drive. He was later identified as 52-year-old Victor Chavez.Chavez was pronounced dead at the scene of his wounds.Galeano-Fugueroa was arrested Monday night.Several witnesses provided statements to the police that Galeano-Fugueroa and Chavez were in an argument which led to the suspect pulling a firearm and shooting Chavez.A police report says the suspect then took at vehicle belonging to one of the witnesses at gunpoint and fled the scene.Police said witnesses were able to describe Galeano-Fugueroa so that police could make the arrest.He was arrested when he was found driving the same vehicle he had taken during the shooting. Police said they read him his rights and that he then confessed to shooting and killing Chavez.He will be arraigned Tuesday morning and is being held on a $750,000 bond.
