Coroners have identified the man killed in a hit-and-run crash on Dixie Highway last month.The Jefferson County Coroner's Office said that 50-year-old Ronald Ables was the man killed in the crash.Louisville Metro Police Department said the crash happened on Dixie Highway at West Orell Road around 9:50 p.m. on May 17.Police said that a car driving north on Dixie Highway was swerving across the lanes when they crossed the median and hit an SUV heading south. This caused the SUV, which Ables was driving, to roll over several times, according to police.Ables was ejected from the SUV as a result, police said. He was taken to UofL Hospital, where he later died on May 29.The person driving the other car allegedly fled from the scene on foot, police said.LMPD's Traffic Unit is handling the investigation.

Coroners have identified the man killed in a hit-and-run crash on Dixie Highway last month.
