Kentucky Man Accused of Shooting Roommate Who Ate His Last Hot Pocket

A 64-year-old Kentucky man was arrested after allegedly shooting his roommate in response to the roommate eating the suspect's final Hot Pocket, RadarOnline.com has learned.

On May 20, Clifton Williams got angry with his roommate, whose name was not given, after he learned the roommate snacked on Williams’ food , as Front Page Detectives reported.

Williams allegedly threw tiles at the roommate and the roommate was attempting to defend himself, officials said.

The roommate then tried to leave their home, and Williams is accused of then allegedly grabbing a gun and shooting the roommate in his butt, WAVE-TV reported.

The victim was able to escape and made it several blocks before he got help.

Officials said he was taken to a nearby hospital and treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

In the early hours of May 21, Williams was arrested and booked into the Louisville Metropolitan Department of Corrections.

He was charged with one count of assault and his bond was set at $7,500, authorities said.

Williams was ordered to have no contact with his roommate and not to possess a firearm or any other weapons.

His next court date was set for May 30.
