The man killed in a motorcycle crash Thursday night has been identified by the coroner. Louisville Metro Police say that 35-year-old Cody Toler lost control of his bike when he and a crew of others were approaching a curve and ended up crashing. Toler was pronounced dead of blunt force trauma at 6:20 p.m. on the scene.The northbound lanes of I-71 were shut down briefly as the scene was cleared. There were no other vehicles involved in the crash, police said, but several of the other motorcyclists remained on the scene.WLKY's Chopper HD flew over the scene and captured fire crews on the scene putting out a smoking motorcycle along the shoulder. Watch aerials below: LMPD said that no charges are anticipated and the Traffic Unit is handling the investigation.The crash caused I-71 to be closed for about an hour and a half.
