Some kids, getting a chance to team up with med students, to provide care to stuffed animals.
This pop-up 'teddy bear clinic,' happening Saturday at Southgate Elementary School in Loudonville.
Students from Albany Medical College were there to teach the children about healthy habits, good nutrition and basic doctors procedures.
Med students tell us this is a 25-year-old tradition at their school.
Ariana Adamsky, 4th year student at Albany Medical College:
“We really wanted to reach out to kids and kind of teach them that, you know, doctors’ offices aren't these scary places. They're actually great places for us to learn how to take care of each other and to stay healthy and build healthy habits.”

About 75 kids attended the event - which also featured a food drive for the community pantry at South End Children’s Cafe.
