    Barbara Eden, 92, is ageless in red hot top and sky-high wedges on LA stroll

    Barbara Eden was all smiles as she walked the streets of Los Angeles on Thursday.

    The I Dream of Jeannie star was seen getting lunch with friends in an LA restaurant . She wore black slacks and a white shirt under a cherry-red blazer.

    Barbara accessorised her look with perfectly coiffed hair and matching earrings and necklace. She balanced expertly as she walked in her wedge heels towards the limousine waiting for him.

    As she walked, Barbara held her black bag in the crook of her arm. Her rare outing comes almost sixty years after the last episode premiered of I Dream of Jeannie, where Barbara played the titular genie.

    Barbara played the iconic character opposite Larry Hagman as astronaut Captain Tony Nelson. The series premiered for five seasons from September 18, 1965, to May 26, 1970.

    For her role in the show, she received Golden Globe Award nominations for Best TV Star: Female in 1966 and Best TV Actress: Musical or Comedy in 1969. She lost out to Marlo Thomas and Carol Burnett respectively. Barbara reprised her role as Jeannie in the made-for-TV movies I Dream of Jeannie...Fifteen Years Later (1985) and I Still Dream of Jeannie (1991).

    She's also known for roles like Lieutenant Cathy Connors in Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea (1961), Stella Johnson in Harper Valley PTA (1978), and Roslyn Pierce in Flaming Star (1960) opposite the rock and roll icon Elvis Presley.

    Barbara has also had small roles on shows like Sabrina the Teenage Witch, Dallas, and Burke's Law. She continued to perform in movies and television until she was 90.

    In her personal life, Barbara has been married three times - to Michael Ansara from 1958 to 1974; Charles Fegert from 1977-1982; and Jon Eicholtz since 1991. Her only child, Matthew Ansara, died in 2001 of a drug overdose.

    She's also an accomplished writer. Her memoir, Jeannie Out of the Bottle, which was released in 2012 was a New York Times Best Seller. Then in 2021, she released a children's book titled Barbara and the Djinn.
