Los Angeles Clippers news: Suprise report from NBA insider counters recent rumors about Paul George’s future

Despite recent reports that made it seem like Paul George’s days with the Los Angeles Clippers may be numbered, a new piece of information offers hope that he could be back in LA next season.

Throughout much of the 2023-24 NBA season, the Clippers were one of the top teams in the Western Conference NBA Standings . However, when it mattered most, top star Kawhi Leonard suffered another frustrating injury and set up their demise in round one of the playoffs.

It has left many wondering about the future of the team. On a recent edition of “ Up and Adams ,” NBA insider Shams Charania revealed that there is a notable “belief” around the league that despite the rumblings last month, George is expected to stay put in LA.

Bringing back Harden and Westbrook will be a goal for the Clippers this summer, but a top priority will be to retain the player who turned 34 earlier this month.
