With only four teams left in the 2024 NBA Playoffs, the other 26 teams in the league are looking towards the 2024-25 season.

There isn't another team that will be discussed more than the Los Angeles Lakers over the next couple of months. There are so many questions that need to be answered. Who will be the next head coach? Will LeBron James return to LA? What players can they acquire this offseason?

There are so many question marks right now and another thing was just revealed regarding the Chicago Bulls and Lakers relationship.

Lakers News: Chicago Bulls Don't Want to Trade With Los Angeles For Outlandish Reason

Jovan Buha of The Athletic had Eric Pincus of Bleacher Report on his YouTube show 'Buha's Block', where they discussed the possibility of a trade between the Chicago Bulls and the Los Angeles Lakers.

Pincus shut down the idea and said, "Their owner doesn’t want LeBron infringing upon Michael’s legacy… the intel is that they’re just not gonna help LeBron."

Jerry Reinsdorf purchased the Bulls in 1985 and was there during Chicago's glory days with Michael Jordan. From 1991-1998, Chicago won six NBA titles and Jordan has been known as the greatest player of all time.

Meanwhile, LeBron James has been relentlessly compared to Jordan ever since entering the league in 2003.

Although Jordan has six NBA titles, James has four titles himself along with plenty of other accolades.

James ranks first in NBA History in total points (40,474), fourth in assists (11,009), and eighth in steals (2,275).

The comparisons between James and Jordan won't stop and reportedly Reinsdorf doesn't want to help LeBron in any way possible.

That is some ridiculous thinking as the Lakers and Bulls are in two different conferences. Secondly, the Bulls don't have anyone on the roster that would drastically change the Lakers' chances of winning the title next year.

If this is true, this is just another example of some petty actions regarding two of the best players to ever play the game.
