The Bold And the Beautiful hunk Tanner Novlan says that his neighbors fear that he may be in the midst of a real life divorce - because of the way he prepares for the hit soap.

Tanner admits that he learns his scripts sat in his car on the front drive of his Los Angeles home that he shares with actress wife Kayla Ewell. But the Canadian father of two, who plays Dr. John "Finn" Finnegan in the CBS soap, believes locals worry that his marriage is in tousle.

In an exclusive interview for The Mirror, Tanner said of the workload on the daily show: "Yeah, is a lot. We do a lot of lines in. The storylines change a lot. The secret is I park in my driveway, in my car where there's no distractions and I can speak at full voice and I learn them there."

He continued: "I'm sure the neighbors think we're going through a divorce or something like 'Tanner's kicked out of the house.' But I don't know why, but I have a lot of kids in the house. That's my peaceful place. I dunno why. That's where all the work gets done."

The 38-year-old has reduced his car time dramatically since starting out in the fast paced soap world.

He added: "It's definitely a muscle. When I first started I’d to take, I'd be in there three, four hours. But now, because we shoot two episodes a day or more, but now I'm getting better at it...I think..I hope it's been four years."

Tanner reveals his hope for a weird and wild plot line where an nasty long lost sibling brother turns up to ruin his life. He’s already nicknamed the ideas The Evil Twin Finn Twin. Tanner loves the unusual plot lines of the long running show and hopes to get his own unique twist - after fans went wild at the storyline of Finn coming back from the dead.

Speaking at the 25th The Women’s Cancer Research Fund (WCRF) An Unforgettable Evening bash, Tanner admitted: "I think that's why people love to tune in so much is because the storylines you can never predict and they're so good at it."

Asked about his dream wild plot twist, he smirked: "But I think Evil Twin (would, I mean that's got to be the one right? Evil twin. I'd love to see an ‘evil Finn twin’.I'd have to come up with a name for him. I think Evil Twin is a good one."

Asked what he’s like to see from the Evil Twin Fin, he laughed: "The character that I play ..a doctor is straight laced. I think it would have to be the opposite of that. So it'd be a doozy. I mean, I dunno what else. Womanizing let your imagination run wild. So yeah, I think that'd be fun to do for a while."

Tanner and Ewell attended the event with a raft of stars including Rita Wilson and Tom Hanks, who saw Sting perform a 20 minute set.

Philanthropist Wallis Annenberg received the 2024 Unsung Hero Award, presented by Jamie Alexander Tisch and Wilson and Demi Moore received the 2024 Courage Award for her unwavering support and dedication to raising awareness for breast cancer. Upon taking the stage, Moore said, “Courage can’t exist in a vacuum, and one thing I do know is that it’s not about one person. This award is truly for the sisterhood of incredible women who have shown me what courage looks like… women like my Aunt Deanna, who survived breast cancer and has been free of it for 18 years.”
