John Travolta attended the 2024 TCM Film Festival in Los Angeles with a special date, his 24-year-old daughter, Ella Bleu, to celebrate the 30th anniversary of his 1994 hit movie Pulp Fiction. Also joining John were his co-stars Samuel L. Jackson, Uma Thurman, Harvey Keitel, Rosanna Arquette, Phil LaMarr, Burr Steers, Eric Stoltz, Julia Sweeney, and Frank Whaley.

The iconic actor and widower of Kelly Preston kept it classy with a white dress shirt, a black polo shirt, and a matching blazer, while Ella opted for a chic look with an A-line dress that featured a square neckline and showed off her toned arms. Father and daughter posed for the cameras as they shared one of their many wholesome moments.

Travolta’s daughter Ella complimented her look with a pair of stiletto heels from Dior and wore her hair in her recently debuted short bob while keeping her makeup simple with a red matte lip and some bronzed-up blush. The young actress looked reminiscent of her mother, who passed away from breast cancer in 2020.

John, who finished up his style with a pair of jeans and loafers, also posed on the red carpet with Uma Thurman, who played Mia Wallace in his Quentin Tarantino-directed classic. While speaking with PEOPLE, John noted that Pulp Fiction “was epic and it evolved.”

“The audiences made this movie what it was, and it wasn’t overnight. It took about a year of evolution. In those days, movies stayed in the theaters for a year,” he told the outlet. “So, by the end of the year of it being, it was planetarily epic.”

John famously played Vincent Vega in the classic, and he recalled how Pulp Fiction “kind of found me more than I found it.” “I never had preconceived ideas of actually what I needed or should have…because Quentin was such a die-hard fan of mine that he had this fantasy of working with me in something,” he explained, adding that he could have collaborated with Quentin on “anything.”

John added that he landed the gig “after a couple of meetings when [Quentin] said, ‘Maybe I won’t go this way. Maybe I’ll go the Travolta way.’” Quentin had suggested From Dusk Till Dawn, however John admitted to not being “interested in vampires really.” “So he said, ‘Okay, well, you like the other idea?’ I said, ‘Yeah, I do.’ And it all evolved,” he added.
