It’s no secret that Katy Perry is well-known for her boundary-pushing fashion sense. And for any non-believers out there, yesterday’s red carpet event should help seal the deal. Indeed, the Grammy award-winning pop star attended this year’s iHeartRadio Music Awards at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, and her racy fashion choices left little to the imagination.
Opting for a daring fishnet dress — that looked more akin to saucy lingerie — the crooner showed off her toned abs, vivacious curves, long legs, and even her black underwear beneath. Laced along each edge of the outfit were a row of striking scarlet-red bows.
Complementing her look, Perry rocked a pair of knee-high leather boots and styled her raven-black hair in waves. The 39-year-old singer finished off her eye-catchingly hardly-there ensemble with smokey eyeliner, a subtle couture lip, and a pair of trendy black shades.
Interestingly, Katy Perry wasn’t just a guest at the prestigious ceremony, but she also had the honor of presenting the award for Song of the Year, too. Said award went to SZA for her uber-popular hit, Kill Bill.
Hosted by rapper Ludacris, the event was rounded out by a laundry list of A-list stars such as Cher, Beyoncé, Stevie Wonder, JoJo Siwa, Meghan Trainor, Jared Leto, Tori Kay, GloRilla, Tate McRae, Latto, Tori Spelling, amongst many others. Still, it’s safe to say that the US pop star was the real “firework” of the entire evening.
