PACOIMA, LOS ANGELES, Oct. 27 (KNN) — A gunshot victim sought help from a Target store employee in Pacoima late Thursday evening prompting a call to authorities.
At approximately 8:48 p.m., the Los Angeles Fire Department and police officers were dispatched to a shooting with a victim at the Target located at the intersection of Laurel Canyon Boulevard and Osborne Street.
Upon arrival, they found a male suffering from a gunshot wound to his upper arm.
The victim shared with LAPD officers that he was being chased through the parking lot and was shot by an unknown assailant with a small caliber gun. He ran into the Target store seeking the aid of a cashier who called 911.
LAFD firefighter/paramedics transported the individual to a local hospital. His condition was not immediately known.
At this time, there is no suspect description. Target remained open.
