USC can’t have too much help in the secondary. Four-star cornerback Dakoda Fields recently announced his top schools, grouping the Trojans with other schools: Oregon, Ohio State, Washington, and Miami.
Fields, who comes in at 6-2 and weighs 175 pounds, has also scheduled official visits to Miami (June 16), Washington (June 21) and Oregon (June 23). The Ducks are currently the favorite to land Fields.
Fields is ranked as a four star overall and rated as the No. 78 player nationally, per the 247Sports.com composite. He’s the No. 10 rated cornerback.
Fields talked about his relationship with the Trojans program:
“Donte Williams is my guy, one of the coaches I’m closest with and he’s very easy for me to talk with. He’s someone I know who cares about me as a person and a player and we’ll always be close no matter where I go. I like the move to the Big Ten too and I know they’re excited about it as well.”
Fields was high school teammates with Rodrick Pleasant, an Oregon signee, at Garden Serra High School in California.
