Elderly Man Suffers Burn Injuries in Shadow Hills House Fire

Shadow Hills, Los Angeles, CA: Los Angeles Police Department officers located a burn victim at a house fire early Monday morning, Mar. 20.

LAPD officers were driving on the 9600 block of Helen Avenue in the San Fernando Valley neighborhood of Shadow Hills just after 12:30 a.m., when they noticed smoke coming from a house.

LAPD requested the Los Angeles Fire Department to respond for a burn patient at the location.

LAFD personnel arrived and knocked down the fire within 10 minutes of arrival. An elderly male was transported by ambulance to a local hospital with burn injuries.

An arson investigator has been attached to this incident for an unknown reason.

LAFD is handling the investigation.
