Los Alamos High School Class Of 2023 Graduate Sare Beste Zeytun To Study Computer Science At University Of Arizona

Los Alamos High School Class of 2023 graduate Sare Beste Zeytun will attend the University of Arizona to pursue a Computer Science degree with a minor in Software Engineering. She is honored to have received a full ride, along with the local Kiwanis Club and Knights of Columbus Scholarship.  

Beste has played the violin for 12 years and has been involved with Orchestra since 4th grade. She has also taught violin lessons for more than a year and a half and was the Symphonic Strings Orchestra Manager for two years. Along with playing the violin, she has continued her passion for dance at En Pointe School of Dance. Over her high school career, Beste has been a part of Key Club, Rotary Interact, Model UN, Student Council, National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta, and Natural Helpers. She served as the secretary/treasurer of the 2023 senior class.

Beste has also enjoyed volunteering at Casa Mesita, where she has met some of the most caring and supportive people. Her favorite memories from high school include burrito runs, hanging out with her friends, and AP Spanish class.  

Sare Beste Zeytun is the daughter of Neslihan Ceren-Zeytun and Ahmet Zeytun.
