Lorain High School has closed early March 29 due to a report of an odor of gas, according to a statement made by the district on Facebook.
Students have been evacuated and are safe.
The district said it would release kids in a orderly fashion and pick-up would commence as usual albeit slower.
The district said the high school building will remain closed until it is cleared by the Lorain Fire Department and the school’s Safety and Security Team.
All extracurricular activities and meetings were canceled.
