Violent multi-vehicle wreck kills 1 in Long Beach
One person was killed after their car veered into the opposite lanes of traffic on Pacific Coast Highway Thursday night.
LONG BEACH, Calif. - One person is dead and several others were injured in a 4-car wreck along the Pacific Coast Highway in Long Beach.
The Long Beach Fire Department responded to a call in the 2300 block of the Pacific Coast Highway around 7:10 p.m. Thursday.
FOX 11 received video capturing the horrifying moments of the crash. Video shows one of the vehicles flying as it collided with another, sending debris throughout the area.

Deadly crash on PCH in Long Beach
One person is dead and six others are hospitalized after a 3-car wreck on the Pacific Coast Highway in Long Beach.
According to police, a man in an SUV was driving westbound on Pacific Coast Highway at Junipero Ave when he veered into the eastbound lanes of traffic and collided with three vehicles.
The SUV driver died at the scene. Three other men were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Paramedics on scene were spotted trying to free multiple people who were trapped in their cars following the crash. Initially, officials reported that six people were injured, however an updated statement from police only mentioned three who sustained injuries.
