After the April tornado, representatives from Big 5 Community Services were present at the emergency meeting with Love County Commissioners and other involved agencies. “We knew the absence of Homeland was going to present a hardship for several Marietta people who might not have a way to get to the grocery store in Ardmore,” said Kevin Stinson, Big 5 Chief Operating Officer. “We offered our services to those Marietta citizens at no cost.”

(KTEN) — The Federal Emergency Management Agency Disaster Relief Center in Ardmore will be closing Saturday at 7 p.m. The center is open daily from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Carter County Health Department to provide assistance to victims of tornadoes and severe weather between April 25 and May 9.
