An Air Quality Alert is in effect today for Auglaize, Butler, Champaign, Clark, Clinton, Darke, Greene, Logan, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Preble, Randolph (IN), Shelby, Wayne (IN), and Warren Counties until 12 a.m. Friday.

QUICK-LOOK FORECAST:

OVERNIGHT: Mostly clear with a chill in the air as lows are in the upper 40s, according to Storm Center 7 Meteorologist Robert Gauthreaux.

DETAILED FORECAST:

THURSDAY: Air quality is gradually improving. Cooler and somewhat seasonable with mostly sunny skies and highs in the mid to upper 70s.

FRIDAY: A few clouds and comfortable with highs in the mid to upper 70s.

SATURDAY: Increasing temperatures, back in the mid-80s. Rain is possible late.

SUNDAY: Scattered showers and storms possible with approaching cold front. High temperatures will drop to about 80.

MONDAY: Isolated showers and storms. High temperatures will be cooler than average, in the low 70s.

TUESDAY: Some lingering showers possible, otherwise mostly cloudy. High temperatures back in the upper 70s.
