Niagara County announces conviction
Submitted by the Niagara County District Attorney’s Office. Niagara County District Attorney Brian D. Seaman announced Kalique Miller, age 19, of Niagara Falls, was sentenced to spend the next 30 years in prison following his conviction of the crimes of attempted murder, attempted aggravated assault of a police officer, and criminal possession of a weapon. The defendant was sentenced to 20 years in prison for attempting to kill a 22-year-old woman by shooting her multiple times in Niagara Falls on Nov. 10, 2022. Miller was sentenced to an additional 10 years for shooting at police officer James Bissell in the Town of Niagara on Jan. 18, 2023, as Bissell responded to a burglary call in which Miller was involved.
