TEXARKANA, Texas (KSLA) - The Texarkana Texas Police Department is investigating after a woman and her young daughter were both shot while asleep in their home. Police say it happened around 12:30 a.m. Friday, March 14 at a home in the 3000 block of Mason Street. A woman and her 10-year-old daughter were both asleep when they were hit by gunfire that came from outside their home, police say. Neighbors reported to police hearing several shots ring out.
