Tamarind Indian Cuisine

Delicious food! I also got the mango lassi to drink which was great. The server, Subhodip, was very attentive and helpful. This was my first time visiting tamarind and I will definitely be back!

Excellent food. The best samosas, naan, and cilantro chutney I’ve ever had. I don’t care for overly saucy chicken 65, but it was succulent and I can’t knock it. Perfect tikka masala. The only critique I have is that I felt looked down upon for eating solo. I was ignored for the first five minutes, then given an incredulous look when I ordered so much food. (Hello leftovers for two more meals!) And I was questioned by staff twice if the spice level was okay, which I felt came with a judgmental tone since I requested medium, not the owner-recommended mild. The owner also tried to take back some of my to-go containers while I was still boxing up, which was awkward, then asked me to leave a review… I’d come back for the food, but probably just to-go because the service wasn’t with a smile.

This place was outstanding. From customer service to recommendations and food quality we were blown away. My bestie and I went for a late dinner and they were quick and helpful in the process of picking out what to get. Everything we ate was perfectly cooked and flavorful. We will be back!!

Great food. One of the best Indian restaurants in the town, better than those in Park Avenue, our server made sure we go out extremely happy.

I had an amazing experience at Tamarind Indian Cuisine. The vegetarian options on the menu are incredibly diverse and complete, with so many delicious choices to choose from. The host and Subhodip were exceptionally sweet, welcoming, and attentive. The food was absolutely phenomenal—fresh, flavorful, and some of the best Indian cuisine I’ve had. As an added bonus, they kindly welcomed our small dog inside, which made our dining experience even more special. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone trying Indian food for the first time or to anyone who appreciates high-quality, delicious Indian cuisine served in a warm, clean, and inviting environment. We will definitely be back.
