What a fantastic dining experience at Naïve! From start to finish, every dish was packed with flavor, creativity, and quality ingredients. The cocktails were equally impressive, both delicious and thoughtfully crafted. We ordered several plates to share, which made for a fun and memorable dining experience. The standout of the night was definitely the ribs. They were fall-off-the-bone tender, incredibly savory, and absolutely unforgettable. The ceviche was fresh, bright, and full of crisp flavors. If I had one small suggestion, I’d love to see the tuna diced a bit smaller, but it’s still a must-try dish. The elote corn was perfectly executed and packed with flavor. The pacing of the meal was spot on, allowing us to enjoy each course without feeling rushed. Cayenne provided excellent service and took great care of us throughout the evening. We dined on the patio on a beautiful Louisville night. If you enjoy creative food, inventive cocktails, and a unique dining experience, Naïve should absolutely be on your list of destinations. Thank you Chef David and Jessica! You’ve created a great dining experience

I feel the same way about this place as I did the first time I ever had MeeshMeesh. It’s incredible and I don’t understand why it isn’t packed every night. And then MeeshMeesh became a national award-winning restaurant. I hope the same for Naive. Every. Single. Dish we tried (and we tried 8) was flavorful, thoughtful, well-plated and interesting. The patio area was cool and trendy and our wait staff even brought out blankets for our wives. Definitely an “unreasonable hospitality” touch if you’ve read the book. We have had the same raven-haired server twice, and, I’m sorry I didn’t remember her name, but she is tremendous and knows every dish by heart. The date appetizer might be my favorite dish in Louisville. Do yourself a favor and book dinner here before it is too packed to get a reservation. And order the patata bravas. And the dates. And the cauliflower.

What a little gem of a restaurant and what a great new addition to the Louisville food scene! We were warmly greeted upon arriving and noticed an eclectic group of patrons including a cowboy in a leisure suit and a wide array of different age groups and backgrounds. The space is quirky and comfortable and our waitress Bee was calmly confident in assisting us with our selections across the menu. Our first choice, the Taco Ceviche could very well have been my favorite appetizer ever! The freshness of the tuna mixed with the sweet mango and heat of the chili oil blended together perfectly with a creamy avocado spread that absolutely slayed! It was so good that we had to split the 5th mini taco in two. The garlic shrimp had phenomenal texture and was perfectly seasoned and the half chicken with mole sauce was cooked to perfection. We also did a side of cauliflower which was a perfect accompaniment. We loved the spicy margaritas and only passed on dessert because the meal was so satisfying and filling and lastly the value for this level of excellence was fantastic. We look forward to going back soon! What a great dining experience!

Went to Naive on a quick night out with my wife and one of my sons. Wow! It was delicious!! I had gone here a few years ago and wasn't very impressed, but they've changed the menu entirely, not sure if owners have changed. We started with a couple spicy margaritas and the taco tartar, which came in extremely small taco shells. The flavor was perfect. A little salt, a little sweet, delish. For dinner she had the chili relenos and I had the seared steak with chimichuri. There are many, many latin restaurants around this area and this might be the best chimichuri steak around. It's accompanied by grilled onions which add an unbelievable complimentary flavor. Only negative comment would be no plates were provided when the app was dropped so we had to share the app plate so it wouldn't spill on the table when we ate our share. We are inside, but it looks like they have an awesome patio in the back. Regardless of the minor plate oversight, will be back in the future.

I have been to this place before as maybe last year. This time, it had new owners as I believe and change things. I truly love the experience. I was sitting at the bar since I was the only one. The reason I went there because they have limited availability of fish day for Friday Fish (Lent). I want something healthy this time. I was welcome to the nice host and also greeted by a wonderful bartender. I tried the avocado Margarita, and it was so good. Just right. I had to try their chicken empanda and the Peruvian green sauce. It was so delicious and I love it when it comes out hot. The special day dish was salmon filet, and I really love it. It was so good! The zucchini was cooked perfectly, and I love the sauce. I ordered one more cocktail, which is Pineapple Passionfruit sour. It was so good and perfect to end for after meal.
