The cafe type small seating is in the back of the store. You basically sit at the table like a bar, and no individual tables. I ordered the chicken salami sandwich and cold coffee. The sandwich was served with their famous in house mint chutney. The sandwich was delicious. Service super prompt and the hostess really sweet. Very reasonably priced. Would recommend although do take note of the timings.

An old school sandwich store inside a departmental store. The sandwiches were simple and flavourfull. My recommendations would include Tuna sandwich and Pork. Tried Ham sandwich also which was decent. Cold coffee was ok. Service was very quick and that homemade green chutney was amazing. In few words it can be described as SIMPLE SUBTLE TIMELESS!!!
Old school vibes are definitely there but vegetarian sandwiches are not that great. Had veg s/w and scrambled paneer s/w Mushroom patty is good. Cold coffee is just coffee in watered milk. Wont recommend cold coffee.
I’ve been going to Novelty for so long that I don’t even remember the first time anymore. It’s just one of those places that’s always been there. Nothing about it has really changed, and honestly, you don’t want it to. If you walk in for the first time, you might just think, okay… this is it? The sandwiches don’t look fancy, there’s nothing “special” going on. We had the chicken omelette and the chicken ham sandwiches, and they’re exactly that. Simple, no drama. But that’s the whole point. It’s the kind of food you don’t overthink, you just sit there and eat and it feels familiar. And the herbal cold coffee… I don’t even know how to explain it properly. It’s not your usual cold coffee, but if you’ve been going there for years, it’s almost compulsory. You don’t order it because you’re curious, you order it because you always have. For someone new, this place might not hit the same. But if you’ve grown up going here, it’s not really about the sandwiches anymore. It’s about the feeling of sitting there and realising nothing’s changed, and somehow that’s exactly what you needed.
One of our go to places for a quick sandwich and cold coffee. The tuna sandwiches are a must have.Their chicken omelettes are also a wholesome meal
