Coastline Brewing Company

A great vibe! There is a good selection of beers on tap for all different people! We went when there was an event so not much seating available but the bar staff was extremely friendly and kind! We cannot wait to come back when the weather is warmer and the outdoor area is open. This was our first stamp on our CT Beer Passport in 2026!

We visited with three families and seven kids, hoping for a fun outdoor afternoon. While the food came out quickly and was decent, and their beer selection is solid, the experience was marred by staff that seemed actively hostile toward our children. The outdoor fire pits we were specifically seated near were broken, adding to the disappointment. The servers appeared miserable and unwilling to accommodate families. For a venue marketing outdoor family space, this felt like a missed opportunity. The food and beer alone aren’t enough to overcome poor hospitality.

I’ve been here a handful of times, and I truly cannot recommend it enough. The decor is in line with a relaxed shoreline vibe, and the beers are top notch. These guys have truly worked hard to make a fantastic brewery, and it’s a welcome addition to the shoreline! You don’t always get the luxury of a brewery with a nice taproom and solid beers. This is one of the rare cases you have both!

We held our 30th Guilford High School class reunion at Coastline Brewing Company. Jay and Rich from Coastline Brewing Company were very accommodating given our original venue canceled last minute. What a night! The beer and local wine selection was extensive and delicious! Also appreciated their non-acholic beer option on tap. The woodfired pizza was honestly some of the best New England has to offer (trust me, growing up outside of New Haven, they have some steep competition). If you are looking to host an informal event with indoor or outdoor seating (covered by a large tent), or are just seeking some great pizza and fresh beer with friends and family, (kid friendly), Coastline Brewing Company is a great option. Don't believe me? Ask any GHS Class of 95 attendee in the pictures and they will say the same.

Such a great brewery! Plenty of seating inside with booths or tables, and outside as well. Check out any of thelocaal brews, ciders or seltzers by the pint or with easy flights. Apparel available and growler to go (or bring your own) Ian was behind the counter and was super positive, setting us up for an awesome experience as he took the time to explain our options and offer some suggestions. We would go back just to see Ian! Easy to find off Route 1, so make sure to check them out!
