Birdsong Cremations

I originally sought out Birdsong for transport of my husband from Houston to Seguin, TX. I spoke with Caryn who was more than compassionate and understanding. She even connected with me while my husband was in hospice to check in with me to see how I was doing. Lo and behold, I then needed Birdsong for cremation services, instead. I was then connected with Paige, who guided me every step of the way. It is hard enough losing a loved one. To feel supported and comforted with gentleness during this time helped with the entire process. I recommend Birdsong to anyone looking for end of life services.

My experience with Bird Song was a great one. I dealt with Taryn from beginning to end, she was very compassionate and understanding and walked be through the process during a very difficult time. She communicated well and often and even made herself available during the weekend. Taryn communicated every step of the way and kept me well informed. When we picked up my Mother’s ashes everything was well packaged in a box. I highly recommend Bird Song Crematory.

A loved one passed and Peyton was so amazing thoughtful understanding supportive and thorough. When someone passes these matters deserve attention to detail and the special level of empathy which I received at this place. I highly recommend. Great experience.

My husband passed away after being in a coma for a couple of weeks. My parents paid for my husband's cremation since I couldn't really afford it. They chose Birdsong. The cost shows you the quality you'll get, to be honest. The communication is extremely lacking. I had to call multiple times to find out if they had him, when we could pay so he could be cremated, when I could pick him up, etc. I had to call twice for a work letter. Some of how long it took is not their fault, the doctor took 4 days to sign my husband's death certificate, but they did not reach out with updates. I had to call them. And if you want your loved one's remains moved to an urn from the receptacle they come in, they'll try to charge you for that too, even though they aren't the ones who move the remains if you're in Tyler! I only gave Birdsong 2 stars because of the ease of cost, but again, I got what we paid for. I was so genuinely upset by their lack of care and communication, it made everything worse for myself and my son. I should not have to call for updates, that should be a given with the type of business you're in. I also never received my husband's digital fingerprints. You literally have to call them constantly and I just gave up. I'd honestly rather never hear from anyone from Birdsong again.

If I could give zero stars to write this, I would , the only time I felt good about them and they were good to me was the night they picked up my brother , other than that, they were rude. Inconsiderate did not do anything. They promised me they would do at the time of payment. I was guaranteed one price, but had to pay approximately $300 more than the original quote. I find them to be very unprofessional. And downright coldhearted, rude and unacceptable will never recommend anyone to use this facility ,,,, At the end of the day I feel they owe me !!!! Have a blessed day and I wish this on no one.
