Accelerations Learning Center

Coaching with Mr. B at Accelerations Learning Center was instrumental in my 8-year-old daughter’s success with both the SSAT and the group interview process. I particularly appreciated Mr. B’s teaching approach—his strategies were engaging, enjoyable, and highly effective. By the end of the process, we were not only pleased with the results, but even more proud of our daughter’s growth, effort, and newly developed learning strategies. I would highly recommend his program.

Accelerations came highly recommended by a friend who mentioned that her daughter enjoyed learning from Mr. B! We signed up our 12 year old and he had the same experience. Learning was more fun in this environment. What was extra helpful, that a lot of other places are missing, is the mindset and energy that Mr. B instills in the kids. His test prep gives them more confidence heading into the test. This is just as valuable or even more so than the actual knowledge and strategy. I would recommend this place to anyone and if ever the case we needed test prep, we are also coming back!

We cannot say enough about the experience our daughter had working with Mr. B during her SSAT preparation. From the very first session, it was clear that he was not just focused on test scores. He invested in her as a whole person, building her confidence, her patience, and her ability to believe in herself. For a child who has had to work hard to get where she is, that approach made all the difference. She came out of this process genuinely proud of herself, and so did we. Whether or not the results open every door we are hoping for, the growth she experienced along the way is something she will carry with her far beyond any single test. She hit the score we were working toward, but more importantly she learned what she is capable of when she applies herself and trusts the process. We feel so fortunate to have found Mr. B at exactly the right moment. If you are looking for someone who will meet your child where they are, challenge them to grow, and genuinely care about who they are becoming, look no further. He is incredibly passionate about teaching and has extensive experience. He focuses on providing the most essential material for the SSAT test, ensuring students get the most important content for success. He also takes great care in reviewing and correcting homework assignments. Thank you so much, Mr. B, for all your time and effort you've dedicated to teaching and encouraging my daughter. Not only did she excel in her Star Test in English and Math at school, but she was also accepted into her dream school this year!
